How Emark won the global Salesforce Partner Innovation Award with RTL/Videoland

We’re proud of how we help our customers here at Emark. And we’re delighted that our efforts have been recognised with a prestigious and highly prized Salesforce Partner Innovation Award. 

 

We landed the award for our ground-breaking project for RTL’s Dutch streaming service, Videoland. This digital transformation has contributed to the company’s success of increasing the number of viewers in 2020 and boosting the viewing time.  

 

Not only did the project deliver great business benefits, it was also one of the first Salesforce CDP implementations globally.

Personalising media communications for greater competitive advantage

 

Videoland is the leading local OTT (over-the-top) streaming service in the Netherlands. It’s operated by international media company RTL Group, which runs 68 television channels and 31 radio stations across Europe. 

 

To turn leads into avid fans with premium subscriptions, RTL/Videoland must be able to deliver relevant, personalised communications and recommendations. The CDP enables all teams in the organisation to capture, segment and activate data across multiple devices.

 

RTL chose the multi-cloud Salesforce solution that enables data-driven sales, service and marketing and turned to Emark as a Salesforce partner to help implement Salesforce. 

 

Emark built the single customer view for RTL/Videoland based on Salesforce technology using solutions such as CDP, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, and Heroku. All aimed at managing customer consent and storing high volumes of data. Based on the robust platform of Salesforce, RTL/Videoland is able to personalise the customer journey, seamlessly, realtime and via every channel. Bridging the gap between owned and paid media.
